We are still in Bradenton! The coach is packed and ready to go. The house is cleaned and most of the food and our clothes have been moved into the coach. But, thanks to Tropical Storm Debby, we are still here, and probably will be for a couple more days.
Although "only" a tropical storm, we have had almost 12 inches of rain, winds up to 50 mph, and tornado warnings. As our RV friends know, it isn't much fun driving the RV in strong winds and heavy rains. So we will wait for the storm to pass. Don's doctor appointment is on Thursday morning and we are hoping to leave around noon. I'll keep you all posted.
This is what Moose Beach looked like last weekend -
This is what it looked like yesterday -
Lots of damage on the bay side too, with numerous boats driven from their moorings and now resting against the Bradenton Beach Pier.
And photos of Beer Can Island, and our backyard lake.
And it is still raining and the wind is still blowing!
