Back in Florida

We arrived back in Florida in early November.  We didn't plan to come this way - this was our year to head west.  But we were tired of the gray skies and damp, cold weather in Indiana and Illinois (lake effect gloom?) and headed south.  We thought of going to Smokey Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg, TN but Super Storm Sandy was on the way to bring snow to the mountains.  We stopped at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL for a week.  We had been having problems with the Jeep for several weeks, taking it to four different Jeep dealers who could never figure out what the problem was.  So when the Jeep dealer in Montgomery said we had a bad cylinder and the repairs would be around $1,200 and they couldn't guarantee it would fix the whole problem, we decided to head back to Bradenton where we could look for a new car.

We plan to stay in Bradenton for a while, at least into January.  We will be heading to NC to spend Christmas with our children and their families.  Then back to Bradenton until we decide to hit the road.
