New Mexico

We are in Albuquerque, New Mexico, waiting for the Balloon Fiesta to start this coming weekend.  We have been in Albuquerque for two weeks now getting things done that we put off until we were in one place for an extended period, such as recall notices on the Jeep, having body work done from when someone hit us while we were in Minnesota, and fixing the heater hose on the coach.

















Last week we hiked the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, one of the newer national monuments administered by BLM.























 It was a three mile round trip hike through a slot canyon with a climb at the end up to an overlook.





What a beautiful place to hike!

















And I made it to the top!
